Teach Mindfulness Online!

Join us for this introductory workshop with Rhea Plosker for teaching mindfulness-based programs (MBPs) and delivering psychotherapy online.

This two-session, 6-hour ONLINE workshop will provide participants with what they need to know to get started teaching mindfulness-based programs online. This highly interactive workshop is for those clinicians who are interested in increasing their practice to include working in the online space, whether that be for individual clients or group sessions.

NOTE: This workshop uses the Zoom Videoconferencing solution and other technologies and processes specific to the Centre for Mindfulness Studies. It may also be helpful for facilitators wishing to use other technologies in their facilitation, but other technologies are outside the scope of this workshop.

This workshop is intended for experienced mindfulness facilitators as they adapt their program delivery to the online space. Trainees and mentees interested in participating should contact us before registering.

In the workshop, you will learn:

  1. The Zoom functionality required to manage a Mindfulness-Based Program online
  2. Developing the group process and relationships online
  3. The challenges (and benefits) of leading practice and inquiry in the online space
  4. Confidentiality, safety, and risk management online
