About Our Bursary Program

What is the Bursary Program?

At the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, we are on a mission to make mental health care accessible to all. We believe in the fundamental principle that everyone should have equal access to the resources needed for a fully engaged life.

In alignment with this belief, our Bursary Program is designed to break down barriers and ensure that mindfulness-based mental health programs are within reach for everyone.

Who Can Benefit?

The Centre welcomes:

  • Individuals who are currently experiencing financial hardship
  • Individuals who are part of underserved populations (i.e. Indigenous, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, people living with disabilities, newcomers, etc.) and currently experiencing financial hardship
  • Ontario residents only

We understand that mental health is a universal need, and our Bursary Program is tailored to address the diverse challenges faced by different communities.

Ease of Approval

We recognize the importance of making mental health care accessible without unnecessary hurdles and have streamlined the approval process for our Bursary Program. We want individuals to access the support they need with ease.

Residents of Ontario who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for financial aid by filling out a simple form.

Once accepted, eligible applicants will be notified and added to their preferred program. Or added to a waiting list if the program is full.

Our goal is to ensure a straightforward and efficient process so that you can focus on your journey of well-being.
