Standing Together
June 2, 2020 – The Centre for Mindfulness Studies stands together in support of our black communities. There is no place for racism, anywhere, in our society. We recognize the pain and trauma that any form of racism causes. We stand by and support all of our communities that are subjected to any injustices and racism.
The deeply troubling events throughout North America demonstrate that now is the time for a change. We are committed to developing resources and opportunities to ease the burden of recent events and create well-being for our communities.
The Centre can always strive to do better and working together we can find ways to support the mental health of those facing injustice and ensure we demonstrate equity, inclusion, and advocate for the dignity and rights of all people.
