Mental Health Week: Elevating Awareness of Emotions
It is not always easy to be aware of your emotions. With mindfulness, we intentionally observe what we are feeling and greet what comes up with curiosity, openness, and non-judgement. Witnessing your emotions in the present moment can allow you to not be so wrapped up in them and give you some helpful distance. This, in turn, can allow you to make healthier choices when experiencing difficult emotions to better take care of yourself.
