Advanced Practice Silent Retreat

Start: Friday, March 4, 2022

Advance your mindfulness practice with an extended weekend of silence.
This silent retreat is for those who have completed a mindfulness-based program such as MBCT, MBSR, MAT, or MSC and would like to deepen their practice. This weekend retreat will allow you to embrace an extended period of silence and to engage in a process of self-discovery.

You will be guided through formal and informal practice by two of the Centre’s senior facilitators including our co-founder and Director of Education & Clinical Services Patricia Rockman. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss in small groups what is coming up for you during the extended practice. There will also be two periods of inquiry, the discussion and exploration that often follows a period of mindfulness meditation.
Silent retreats allow the opportunity to work with both the joys and challenges of mindfulness. Facilitators will be available to answer questions or assist you as needed. Participants are encouraged to maintain silence outside of the sessions whenever possible. Detailed recommendations about how to get the most from this online experience will be shared about one week before the start date.
