Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8 week program that can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and working memory, develop more awareness, increase resilience, and enhance focus and concentration. This psycho-educational group program helps develop capacity for greater calm and teaches practical skills to manage stress and build resilience.

Intake Interviews (via telephone): Tuesday, August 9, 2022 | 5pm – 9pm ET and Wednesday, August 10, 2022 | 6pm – 8pm ET and Monday, August 15, 2022 | 6pm – 8pm ET
Orientation & Session 1: August 16, 2022 | 6pm – 9pm ET
Sessions 2-8: August 23 – October 11, 2022 | 6pm – 8:30pm ET
NOTE: September 27th is the 4-hour silent retreat | 5:30pm – 9:30pm ET
Please try to reserve October 18, 2022 | 6pm – 8:30pm ET in your schedule as a make-up session in the rare case of a session cancellation.

If you live outside Ontario or Quebec, you may only take this program for professional development reasons. You will be required to complete a specific Professional Development Questionnaire and Informed Consent. If requested, you can receive a certificate of participation signed by the Centre for Mindfulness Studies upon completion of the program.
